Please save the date for a celebratory reception held by the MIT Athletic Department (DAPER) on Sunday, April 10, 2011, from 11am-1pm at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. This event will lead up to the MIT 150th Convocation, beginning at 2pm, to recall the mid-century convocation and celebrate the scholarly accomplishments of MIT's faculty and students.
The MIT Athletic Department’s (DAPER) reception will commemorate our legacy, bring together former teammates and student athletes and recognize 16 varsity teams which have significant anniversary dates ranging from 10 to 110 years.
A more formal invitation will shortly follow. We hope you will join us and ask other MIT alumni to take part at this special event.
